Been playing bass since the formation of my group The Posies in 1988. I've gone on to play bass with Alex Chilton/Big Star, R.E.M., Neil Young, Tav Falco, the Minus Five, and more. I've played bass on countless music productions in my studio. Note: I play fretted, electric bass only. I can play synth bass lines too. Influenced by Paul McCartney, John Paul Jones (with whom I've played bass!), Colin Moulding, James Jamerson, Nathan Watts...
