The majority of session work I do now is making catchy hooks for all sorts of songs, from folk, to christian rap, to punk, to melodic trap. I get the "Post Malone and Trap-Jon Bellion" comparisons a lot, in terms of tone, but I definitely like to give my clients the healthy combo of lyricism and catchiness.
